Course Overview
This course will aim to give you an overview of working at height, and how to use the relevant equipment safely when working at height.
At the end of the video, trainees will be able to:
» Understand what is working at height and hierarchy of control.» Identify where and when to use scaffold and the importance of safety checks.
» Understand what MEWPs are and the different types of MEWPs.
» Recognise how to minimise consequences; Equipment, Harnesses and Safety Nets.
Our view… This is an entertaining and professional video. It teaches you about the risks of working at height – using ladders and scaffolding – and how to eliminate those risks. Essential viewing for anyone who works at height.
This e-learning course only provides awareness education. Face to face training would be needed in addition in order to complete the all round skills and knowledge to be able to carry this forward practically in your organisation.
