This book not only examines identifying, designing, delivering and evaluating training but also offers advice on how to run a training business and, especially catering for the modern fashion of outsourcing, how to ‘go it alone’. Changes in the industry are reflected in ‘e-learning’ becoming ‘blended learning’. Moreover, a new section has been added which looks at the growth in popularity of coaching in general and also outlines the role of the trainer as a personal coach.
There is the usual plethora of checklists, evaluation forms, recommended further reading and website addresses which make this book a standard reference work of particular value to anyone new to the rapidly widening world of ‘training’.
